Learn Tourism Comes Together with JB Media Institute to Expand Offerings to Empower Tourism Professionals

Learn Tourism, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the tourism industry through innovative education, has officially integrated with JB Media Institute, a leader in digital marketing and storytelling education.

This strategic partnership combines the expertise of two trailblazers in tourism training, delivering expanded resources and tools to support tourism professionals, destination marketing organizations and travel marketers worldwide.

With this merger, Learn Tourism enhances its commitment to sustainability, tourism stewardship, and professional development by introducing new educational tracks, resources and events tailored to the industry's evolving needs.

"Education is the cornerstone of sustainable tourism," said Stephen Ekstrom, CEO and Co-Founder of Learn Tourism. "By joining forces with JB Media Institute, we're expanding our ability to equip professionals with the tools they need to build thriving destinations and impactful tourism programs."

"I have seen firsthand the powerful transformation tourism can bring to communities and how travel can enrich a person's life, "said JB Media Institute lead instructor Sarah Benoit. "Sharing stories with people from other places is key to our growth and advancement, as people and as a collective. The Institute and Learn Tourism teams will be able to provide a higher level of specialized training to more destinations. We envision a bright future where locals, visitors, leaders, and tourism professionals create positive change and bring communities together to learn and take action."
