Los Angeles Wildfires: Contribute to the Recovery
In the wake of the incredible loss and devastation caused by the January 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, many are looking for ways to contribute to the recovery effort and support those who've been affected.
Below are some of the ways you can contribute:

- California Community Foundation, Wildfire Recovery Fund: The California Community Foundation's Wildfire Recovery Fund supports the recovery and resilience of communities devastated by wildfires, particularly underserved and marginalized populations.
- Los Angeles Fire Foundation: The LAFD Foundation provides vital equipment and funds critical programs to help the LAFD save lives and protect communities.
- American Red Cross: The American Red Cross is working with its partners to provide shelter, food, emotional support and health services. You can support the Red Cross by making a donation online, by calling (800) 733-2767 or texting REDCROSS to 90999.
- Donation Centers Open in Impacted Areas: The City has announced donation drop-off locations to support families, residents and workers impacted by the LA wildfires. Donation items are requested based on reported community needs.
ADDITIONAL RESOURCES:
- Los Angeles Regional Food Bank: The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is working with government agencies, nonprofit and faith-based partners and others to respond to the fires throughout Los Angeles County.
- Pasadena Humane Society: Pasadena Humane Society has taken in over 400 animals from the Eaton Fire Emergency and are requesting monetary donations to help purchase medical supplies and other resources as they see a significant increase in the number of burned and injured animals coming to the shelter.
- GoFundMe: If you'd like to read the stories of LA community members who've been impacted by the wildfires, a number of GoFundMe fundraisers exist to offer direct help to those in need.
