Stepping Up Its Online Game
Huntsville and Madison County Alabama, are being showcased in a whole new light. The Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) has unveiled a brand new hunstville.org site. This new site's functionality will captivate online visitors and entice them to make lifelong memories in the Rocket City.
Working closely with CVB staff members, community officials and influential locals, the website company Simpleview created this dynamic new site. The goal of Simpleview, the go-to website creator for more than 150 worldwide destination, is to convert online visitors to on-the-ground visitors.
Hunstville.org is now full of high-resolution imagery, streamlined and engaging copy, and all-new functionality. Among the new features are fully responsive capabilities from all types of media devices, district maps, a "social station" (enumerating what the CVB is saying on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and the iHeartHsv blog), itineraries from influential locals, a trip builder, a facility search, geo-targeting (sorting restaurants, hotels and nearby things to do), an events calendar and translation services.
"Madison County currently enjoys approximately 2.8 million visitors a year," said Judy Ryals, president and CEO of the Huntsville/Madison County CVB, "and we hope that once prospective visitors see the new website, that number will grow."
