Gaylord Texan Resort Expanding
The Gaylord Texan Resort on Lake Grapevine has unveiled plans for its upcoming $120 million resort expansion—making it one of the top three largest non-gaming convention center hotels in the United States.
The new expansion, called The Vineyard Tower, will add 303 guest rooms to the resort's current 1,511-room inventory and an additional 86,000 square feet of carpeted meeting space, bringing the total meeting space to approximately 490,000 square feet.
"Our increased number of resort guest rooms following the expansion will allow us the ability to host more group travel business as well as more flexibility with our rates," said Tom Egan, director of sales and marketing, Gaylord Texan Resort.
The premier resort destination's amenities include award-winning restaurants and bars, Glass Cactus Nightclub, Paradise Springs waterpark, Relâche Spa & Salon, retails shops and more. Situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Grapevine, Gaylord Texan is located only six minutes from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
