'Stump' for the Travel Industry During This Important Week

From May 1 to May 7, the national travel and tourism industry is being celebrated. National Travel and Tourism Week  was established in 1983 to showcase the unique value travel holds for our economy and how it benefits each individual's personal well-being. Throughout the week, travel and tourism professionals like you will work to promote the industry's contributions to the U.S. economy. Election season is upon us—and it is time for you to "stump" for the travel industry!

Here's a Chance to Give Back!

Calling all travel industry professionals! Tourism Cares and travel industry professionals are teaming up to clean things up. The Tourism Cares for the Mississippi River volunteer program is part of the National Park Service's (NPS) Centennial Celebration and is the third event of its kind. On May 19 and 20, 150 travel industry professionals will help restore the Coldwater Spring site in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

"Hotlanta" is About to Get Even Hotter

In spring 2018, Hard Rock Hotel is coming to Atlanta. This famous, lyrical hotel will be fully equipped with unmatched amenities. Guest will enjoy cocktails on the hotel's rooftop oasis, schmooze in a vibrant lobby lounge, and delight in a variety of other offerings exclusive to the Hard Rock Hotel Brand. The hotel will be located next to the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Stadium—future home of the Atlanta Falcons.

New Look. Same Great Sound.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio just marked its 20th anniversary, and it plans to celebrate in a big way. The Rock Hall's plastic decorative shrubs and picnic tables are being tossed aside to make way for an entirely new aesthetic. The museum's interior space is also being rebooted. The proposed indoor and outdoor changes will project more of the institution's musical spirit.
