The Remarkable Story of America’s Founding

Beginning April 2017, groups can take a journey through the remarkable story of America's founding with the Museum of the American Revolution, Philadelphia's newest attraction. Featuring priceless, historical artifacts showcased through innovative storytelling technologies and immersive exhibits, groups will leave the Museum of the American Revolution with a deeper understanding of the events, ideas and individuals that started the United States of America.

In the exhibit The Road to Independence, museum visitors will discover how American Colonists, who previously identified themselves as British subjects, transformed into Revolutionaries as the roots of rebellion took hold. In this exhibit, groups will find seven galleries of historical accounts of these colonists featuring an interactive map of the North American continent. Experience America during the darkest hours of the Revolutionary War through The Darkest Hour exhibit, where groups can immerse themselves in the Battle of Saratoga, the Winter at Valley Forge and more.

Groups of all ages will learn about the dynamic story of the American Revolution and its legacy here in the historic area of Philadelphia at the city's newest attraction, the Museum of the American Revolution.
