Mystic Seaport Welcomes Back the Sabino Steamboat!
It's been more than two years since the Sabino's whistle has been heard along the Mystic River in Connecticut at Mystic Seaport: The Museum of America and the Sea. Now, after a $1 million restoration, she's back.
Until mid-October, then again beginning in mid-May in spring 2018, groups can enjoy one of three different cruise experiences as part of a visit to Mystic Seaport.
Every afternoon at 2:30 p.m., a 25-minute steamboat cruise departs from the museum's boat dock. At 3:30, a 90-minute cruise leaves. Then, at 5:30, a two-hour sunset cruise is scheduled every day except Tuesday. Is there any better way to end a great day?
Groups rave about this beautiful, relaxing, guided journey through New England's maritime history with stunning shoreline views. Since Sabino's re-launch in August, tours have been selling out.
There's something for everyone at the museum's remarkable 19-acre campus, conveniently located at exit 90 just off of I-95 in Mystic, Connecticut.
