Let it Snow! The Carolina Opry Christmas Special
The Carolina Opry Christmas Special presents its 31st season of awe-inspiring holiday performances in Myrtle Beach, with new acts and time-honored traditions. Owner, producer and entertainer Calvin Gilmore works for months each year to create an unforgettable holiday experience, and this year is no different.
"The Christmas Show of the South" teams new talent with rotating artists and long-standing Opry favorites. This season, "All That," stars of NBC's America's Got Talent, will offer never-before-seen dance material with some big surprises. They'll be joined on stage by a cast of 35 including Calvin Gilmore, Rita Gumm, Christie Templeton, Brad Long, Tangena Church, Kym "Bogie" Shurbutt, Eric Gumm, Gary Baker, Trent Wideman, Gary Brown, Martha Brown, Kevin Hughes, Jeff Simmons, Kevin White, Steve Wilkerson and the Carolina Opry Dancers.
Rumor has it that even a horse-drawn sleigh will appear on the winter wonderland stage at the state-of-the-art theater decked with 35 Christmas trees, 75 wreaths, over five miles of tree lighting and real Christmas snow.
Shows run November 1, 2016, through January 1, 2017, with regular evening performances and selectively scheduled matinees. Tickets sell out fast! Visit www.thecarolinaopry.com for more information.
