Become a Smartphone Photographer
Photos are a great way to market your business by showing your clients the wonderful trips they could experience—and while you might not be in the habit of carrying a camera around with you at all times, you're likely carrying a smartphone with you at all times. With smartphone cameras, you have the potential to market your business at anytime, from anywhere. Here are some tips on becoming a smartphone photographer.
Photograph Often
If you're not prone to carrying a camera around, you could be watching great photographic opportunities pass by. But smartphone cameras enable you to take awesome shots everywhere you go. Practice taking more photos, and great photo opportunities will never pass you by.
Build Fundamental Skills
Smartphone cameras are nowhere near as powerful as professional cameras. And editing apps offer little compared to programs such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, so you don't have technical and editing powers to work with. You have to go back to the basics of composition. Think about the colors, the lines and placement of your subject.
Connect
Once you take your photos, share them. There are specific photo-sharing communities, such as Instagram and Flickr, that allow you to connect with others. You could gain valuable feedback, get inspired and gain new clients.
